Pedro Ramos was born in Portugal in 1976. He has roots in Goa but grew up in Macau. Traveling between Asia and Europe allowed him to experience other cultures from a very young age, almost always with a camera in hand! He graduated in photography from the Ar.Co Center for Art and Visual Communication in Lisbon and began working as a freelance photographer in 1998, with clients in various areas of photography, such as Architecture, Real Estate, Advertising, and Fashion.

His interest in photography teaching arose in 2007 when he was invited to teach at the Magestil Professional School, where he taught until 2015. He organizes and teaches annual courses and workshops at institutions such as, Serviços Sociais da Caixa Geral de Depósitos or Ordem dos Engenheiros (Região Norte).

To combine his passion for traveling and photography teaching, he launched in early 2022 the Expedições Fotográficas project. International trips planned with photography in mind!

He has collaborated with brands, companies, and organizations such as EXPO 98, FNAC Portugal, Grupo Desportivo e Cultural da Companhia de Seguros Fidelidade, Região de Turismo do Oeste, Christie’s International Real Estate, Escola de Moda de Lisboa, Central Models, Canon Portugal, Papa-Léguas Viagens de Adventura, Livros do Oriente/Publicações D. Quixote, Cream Magazine, ZOOT Magazine, among others…
