João Palla Martins

Founder & Publisher

He started photographing during his teenage years in Macau with professor, artist and photographer António Andrade. Belonging to the analogue or film-based photography he used to develop his films and printing in the darkroom.

He has shifted to digital practice recently while keeping a documentary representation. He is currently developing a project of photographing the Luso-Asians communities, in which he exhibited some works and published two books of a larger collection. For him, photography “unfolds the path to creativity and to storytelling”.

Graduated in Architecture, Master in Design and Visual Culture, PhD in Art Sciences.
Works and lives in Macau.
