Born in Terceira, Azores, in 1972, started a degree in power systems engineering in A Military university but ended up “deserting” after a couple of years and “enlisting” in IADE - Lisbon’s Design University, finishing his degree in Graphic Design in 1995.

Became a professional “Mad Men” in advertising in January 1995 seeing his work being awarded several national and international prizes, including a prestigious Cannes Lion in 2003.

In 2005, after a long journey through South America decides to become a freelancer and allow himself to travel more.
Two years later, takes his passion for communication to Angola, first to give birth to a new advertising agency and, later that year, to help create and establish the new design department of the largest Angolan Communication group.

Besides his career in Advertising, studied Theatre between 1996 and 2000 ending up acting not only on stage but also on TV and in advertising.

In 2004 starts a collective called “happydemia”, creating conceptual infectious spaces for entertainment and art sharing, the group develops 9 projects, two of them integrated with Boom Festival, in Portugal, in 2004 and 2006, where he joins the design and scenography team between 2014 and 2018. Also counts with several participations in other Festivals in Portugal, Spain and Morocco between 2006 and 2018.

Comes for the first time to Macao in 2018 to be part of the design team of The Script Road - Macao's literary festival. He Falls in love.

Since then, besides The Script Road, has also been part of This Is My City (2018/2019) and started BE-ATS, an ongoing irregular dance floor focusing on electronic music where he keeps developing design and scenography.

Since the start of the digital era of photography, never had a camera.
